Iva Nenadić is Assistant Professor at the European University Institute (EUI) and at the University of Dubrovnik, Faculty of Media and Public Relations, where she is Head of the Centre for Digital Policy and Civic Resilience. She specialises in digital and media policy, with a particular focus on platform governance, information integrity, and the impact of emerging technologies on journalism as a democratic institution. At the EUI, she is Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom (CMPF), with more than a decade of experience in implementing the EU-wide Media Pluralism Monitor.
Her work bridges academic research and policymaking, with extensive engagement in EU and international policy processes. She collaborates with international organisations including UNESCO, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the Council of Europe on issues related to freedom of expression, digital governance, and the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and information sphere.
