Academic co-operation

The Development Office sets up academic co-operation projects with a wide range of international partners. This usually includes the creation of a consortium with companies or other academic institutions in the framework of a call for tender.

Content-wise these projects cover the fields of academic expertise of the College of Europe as well as specific academic management skills. Depending on the type of programme under which they are funded, the co-operation initiatives can greatly vary in scope.

The overall objectives of these projects include:

  • curriculum building for European Studies programmes;
  • implementation of documentation centres;
  • provision of consultancy services on European affairs;
  • organisation of conferences, workshops and exchange programmes.

All projects are managed by the Development Office Team in cooperation with other departments of the College of Europe and partner institutions.
