JOB OPENING - Academic Assistants in the Department of European Interdisciplinary Studies
We are currently looking for Academic Assistants/Senior Academic Assistants to join the European Interdisciplinary Studies Department starting in August 2024.
Please note that the College only organises courses for students registered at the College.
Please check the specific language requirements for the different study programmes in Bruges.
The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe organises summer French courses for admitted students of the College of Europe.
Those chosen to take part in the European Political and Governance Studies "Access to French track" are given the opportunity to take a summer course as part of the Bruges introductory programme.
English and French courses are organised throughout semester one in order to help students adapt to the academic environment.
The focus is mainly on improving academic and professional language skills.
Students who are not native speakers and who do not possess internationally recognised language certificates at Council of Europe B2 level are advised on arrival to see if they should follow these courses.
Academic French and English writing workshops and tutorials are organised to help students with thesis writing and the development of professional writing and speaking skills.
All students can follow German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish courses.
In most cases, the College, or the cultural institute, provides a certificate indicating the Council of Europe level obtained.
The language service organises a number of workshops dealing with linguistic and professional skills:
