First ever training in our new Tirana Campus
The College of Europe in Bruges is organising, upon initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a two-week Training for Young Professionals of the Western Balkans, taking place from 03 to 14 June...
French is one of the two working languages of the College. A good working knowledge of French is an essential condition for admission to most departments. The College generally requires students to have a minimum level of B1/B2 on the Council of Europe language scales.
All applicants should evaluate their language skills in the online application and, if possible, supply internationally recognised certificates or letters from professors indicating the level of French in terms of the Common European Framework for Reference (CEFR).
Please note that there are specific language requirements for the different study programmes.
Those with weak levels of French are encouraged to apply if they are able to make sufficient progress before the start of the academic year.
To obtain advice on French courses, please contact your local Alliance Française or Institut Français.
The Alliance Française de Bruxelles-Europe organises a specialised French course for Master students.
For more information, please visit the page "Summer Courses".
There are French courses as part of the College introductory weeks in September for specially selected Politics students.
