Visit of Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission

On Wednesday February 19th, uur Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American student societies welcomed Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, as part of the Latin-American week at the College of Europe.

Reflecting on her portfolio as European Commissioner, she reminded our students that today’s dividing line lies in whether we believe in the multilateral system or not. And that we need to broaden our understanding of defence and security in the current circumstances.

Student-led events are a core part of the learning experience at the College of Europe. National weeks taking place during the second semester are a unique opportunity for our students to welcome and exchange with a diversity of high-level guests.
