The College of Europe is seeking applications for the position of full-time Administrative assistant with a starting date of 2 June 2014 at the latest. The post will be created within the framework of the “EP-Geremek European Civilisation Chair”.
We are looking for graduates with:

a Master’s degree;
-
a very good command of English and a good command of French (good knowledge of Polish desirable);

ICT skills and the ability to use current IT tools and social media;
-
proven relevant work experience;
-
excellent organizational skills;
-
ability to meet strict deadlines;
-
ability to work autonomously and as a team member;
-
flexible approach to work.
Tasks include:
-
providing secretarial and administrative support to the Chair in EP-Geremek European Civilisation;
-
performing routine secretarial tasks;
-
reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence, writing, drafting and processing data, documents and reports, researching and interpreting data and other source material etc.;
-
organizing conferences and meetings;
-
providing research assistance to the Chairholder and the Chair’s Research Fellows;
-
taking care of the Chair’s social media activities;
-
collaborating with the Chair’s Research Fellows, other services and employees;
-
serving as liaison with various services of the College and with partner institutions;
- contributing to the implementation of the objectives of the EP-Geremek European Civilisation Chair, the post-holder will facilitate internal communication, foster co-operation, team spirit and a harmonious working environment with a view to increasing efficiency.
