New Chair in Transatlantic Trade and Economy
The College of Europe is proud to announce the establishment of a new Chair in Transatlantic Trade and Economy, funded by Microsoft, as part of our Master of Arts in Transatlantic Affairs (MATA)...
Hack4Ideas is a joint project between Microsoft and the Department of European Political and Governance studies of the College of Europe.
The European Union is a motor for innovation in ideas and technology around the world. From start-ups to multinational corporations, Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing are already transforming European industries and society. But as new technologies change the world around us, the types of risks we now face are also evolving.
Then join us at this project to participate in a Hackathon on the future of Digital Europe. There has been a lot of discussion in the media, academia, and policy circles about the digital revolution, but we need action to ensure an inclusive digital transformation. The selected participants will compete among 10 teams composed of 3 students (one per university) to develop policy solutions (such as a legislative proposal, awareness campaign, project, executive action etc.) for one of the following topics:
We are looking for new ideas to tackle the upcoming digital challenges —not just recycling or combining existing legislation or policy proposals.
