The "Promotion Delors" has arrived! Our 75th academic year can start!

On Monday, September 9th, 2024, the "Promotion Delors" students arrived at our Bruges campus, marking the official start of our 75th academic year. Our staff and professors welcomed the students for what will undoubtedly be a fulfilling and transformational year.

This year is special for many reasons. We are not only celebrating the 75th anniversary of the College of Europe’s founding but also two new milestones for our community: the opening of our third campus in Tirana and the establishment of the European Union Diplomatic Academy as a fully-fledged programme.

For 75 years, we have debated and shaped European integration, serving as a dynamic hub for learning, dialogue, and « community building of the European Union ». 
Our new students across campuses are more dedicated than ever to helping shape the future of Europe, inspired by the legacy of the previous generations of College of Europe graduates.

No matter where we come from, “we are here to be empowered to shape the European integration process, being part of a Europe-oriented journey”, said Rector Federica Mogherini in her address to the new students on Tuesday.

To the new students of the "Promotion Delors", we encourage you to take up this call – to engage passionately in your academic journey, build meaningful connections, and actively contribute to advancing the European project with your vision and dedication!
