The College of Europe in Natolin is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment for all students. We strive to ensure that every member of our community can participate fully in academic and community life at the College.

Over the years, we have made improvements to enhance accessibility across campus facilities, including full wheelchair access to classrooms and key venues. The College also provides tailored support, including practical solutions and assistive technologies for students with special needs such as those with speech or hearing impairments.

Our approach combines the implementation of general best practices in accessibility with the flexibility to accommodate individual circumstances. A range of support measures and services are available, including:

• Facilities (Residences and Classrooms): Both residences and classrooms are designed to be fully accessible, with room allocations and learning spaces adapted to meet the needs of students with disabilities or other special needs. The Retinger residence is equipped with an elevator and includes a student room with a bathroom fully adapted for wheelchair users.
• Academic Support: Reasonable accommodations, as outlined in the Study Regulations (Article 37d), allow students with disabilities or special needs to request adjustments for classes, coursework, examinations, and the thesis.  
• Psychological Wellbeing: An on-site counselling service provides a safe and confidential space for students to discuss personal or academic difficulties, helping to build understanding of challenges and develop strategies to overcome them.
• Institutional Support: College of Europe in Natolin’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan is supported by a dedicated Advocate for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, who safeguards the interests and well-being of students with disabilities and special needs.
