Guest lecture by Neva Grašič, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia
Student-led events and guest lectures? At the College of Europe, we love them because our students bring energy to the classroom, and that was clear in yesterday’s discussion with Neva Grašič, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia.
The conversation, moderated by our own resident professor, Gentian Elezi, focused on the European path of the Western Balkans, youth involvement, the rule of law, and the strengthening of democratic institutions, highlighting how people should see real, fundamental change in their societies throughout the accession process.
The State Secretary shared with our students her first-hand experience from Slovenia’s accession journey, what candidate countries can learn, and how young people can shape the future of the EU.
Thank you, Neva Grašič for accepting our students’ invitation and for sharing your experience with us!
