On 29 April from 12h15 to 14h, Ms. Annikky Lamp, Communication coordinator at the Cabinet of Commissioner Simson, and Mr. Vaclav Bartuska, Ambassador-at-Large for Energy Security of the Czech Republic, visited the College for a discussion on EU External Energy Policies.
Students of the College gave an input to the upcoming Communication of the European Commission on EU External Energy Policy.
A preparatory team meeting was organised for the students registered to the event, to help them prepare their input.
The event was held in a roundtable format in the Salon Madariaga at the Garenmarkt building of the College. Ms. Lamp discussed with representatives of the College, notably of the student Energy Group and professors of the College, about upcoming initiatives in External Energy Policy. This was followed by a ‘reality check’ with Mr. Vaclav Bartuska, Ambassador-at-Large for Energy Security of the Czech Republic.
