In an effort to combat disinformation and propaganda, a unique and interactive role-playing event was organised on Saturday, October 14, from 14:30 to 18:00. Organized within the framework of the Natolin Media and Disinformation Nest, this event aimed to shed light on the intricate workings of disinformation campaigns and the methods employed to manipulate societies online.
The activity, named "Role Play: Fact Warrior," invited participants to immerse themselves in an interactive game designed to simulate the dynamics of disinformation campaigns. The event didn't require any prior preparation, making it accessible to all. After the game, participants had the opportunity to critically evaluate the outcomes and engage with the content to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
This hands-on learning experience provided insight into the tools and techniques used by purveyors of disinformation, helping participants become more resilient against these threats. Furthermore, participants had the chance to create their own disinformation campaign, providing a unique perspective on the challenges and ethical considerations surrounding such activities.
