Opening Lecture Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy

The Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy (College of Europe, in cooperation with Microsoft) is pleased to announce its Opening Lecture, scheduled for November 10th at 14:00. This event will serve as an occasion to present the Chair’s recent creation, and allows Dr. Ian Lesserthe Chairholder, to share his insights on the evolving context of transatlantic relations and the challenges they entail.

The lecture will commence with an opening address by Rector Federica Mogherini. Dr. Ian Lesser will then delve into the topic: "Transatlantic Relations at a Time of Geopolitical and Economic Risk." After his presentation, the program will include a dynamic Q&A session moderated by Prof. Michele Chang (Director of the Master of Arts in Transatlantic Affairs at the College of Europe). We will conclude the event with a reception.

The lecture venue will be located at Dijver 11 in Brugge, right within the College of Europe. For those unable to attend in person, we are pleased to offer the option to attend online after completing the registration process. A link for online attendance will be provided via email.
