One Last Toast: Bruges bids farewell to the Jacques Delors Promotion

On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, the students of the Jacques Delors Promotion were warmly welcomed by the Mayor of Bruges, Dirk DE FAUW, for a special farewell reception to mark the end of their academic year.

During this special evening, Mayor De fauw awarded them the Honorary Citizenship of the City of Bruges. More than a symbolic gesture, this recognition celebrates the strong bond our students have built, not only with the city itself, but with its people, who have welcomed them with warmth and generosity over the past year!

Continuing a cherished tradition, the evening concluded in the best of Belgian spirit: with a toast shared over a glass of the famous Brugse Zot, as students, staff, host families, and city representatives raised a glass to a year that will not be forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you to Mayor De fauw for his warm words, ongoing support, and for making our students feel like part of the Bruges community from day one!
