Guest Lecture by Alfred Kammer, Director of the European Department, IMF
Did you know that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) opened its first European office in Paris back in 1948?
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the guest lecture “Making the Most of EU Accession” by Mr. Alfred Kammer, Director of the European Department at the IMF.
He shared insights on the IMF’s work in 🇪🇺Europe, the economic opportunities in the Western Balkans, and the region’s political challenges, followed by a Q&A session with our students. As Mr. Kammer said: “Both the IMF and the College of Europe have long worked to support the same vision: a more prosperous, better integrated, and resilient Europe.”
Thank you, Mr. Kammer, and the IMF team, for visiting our campus and sharing your experience with our students! 🔗You can read the full speech here: https://lnkd.in/epYxViYt
