The College of Europe hosts the annual Retreat of the United Nations in Bruges

On 5-6 September, the College of Europe hosted the annual Retreat of the Heads of the UN Agencies in Brussels, continuing a valued tradition that has now become a regular fixture.

Each year, the UN Brussels Team visits our Bruges campus for its team retreat and strategic discussions, strengthening the bond between our institution and one of the world’s most important multilateral organisations.

As part of this tradition, the UN team also organises a networking reception with our students, creating a unique opportunity for them to directly engage with senior UN officials, many of whom have previously walked in their shoes at the College of Europe!

Ms. Camilla Brückner, Director of the UN Office in Brussels, also attended the gathering. She delivered a speech to our students, offering them a firsthand look into international diplomacy and insights into potential career paths within the UN.

The College of Europe is proud to continue its partnership with the UN Brussels Team and provide students with such exceptional networking and learning opportunities.
