Across our continent, the Conference on the Future of Europe sparks highly relevant discussions on how we envisage our European community in the years and decades to come. The perspective of the Western Balkans is – without any doubt – an essential ingredient in this timely discourse. At the College of Europe, we would like to provide a forum for an exchange that takes into full consideration viewpoints from beyond the current borders of the European Union.
Against this backdrop, the College will bring together – in one panel – Foreign Ministers from the region with Co-Chairs of the Conference on the Future of Europe in order to provide an inclusive and comprehensive input to the broader debate. The event “Discussing the Future of Europe – Perspectives and Contributions from the Western Balkans” will take place at the College of Europe’s Bruges campus on Monday, 15 November 2021, 11h00-13h00. The discussion, moderated by Rector Federica Mogherini, will be enriched by the interaction with our international group of students.
