Natolin Students Visit the Warsaw Office of UNHCR
Students from the Natolin Migration & Human Rights Nest have recently had the unique opportunity to visit the Warsaw office of UNHCR - the UN Refugee Agency dedicated to protecting refugees, asylum-seekers, and stateless individuals.
During the visit, the students were hosted by Mr Kevin J. ALLEN, UNHCR’s Refugee Coordinator for the Ukraine Situation in Poland. Mr ALLEN shared his insights on the challenges of forced displacement and the complexities of coordinating international protection efforts in the current geopolitical climate.
The session offered valuable, real-world perspectives on the humanitarian response to refugee crises, reinforcing students’ academic engagement with issues of migration and human rights.
The visit was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Natolin Migration & Human Rights Nest and the warm welcome extended by UNHCR Poland.
