Georgios Alexakis graduated from the College of Europe in Natolin in the academic year 2023/2024. He previously majored in Political Studies and Diplomacy at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece where he completed his BA in International and European Studies.

He was also involved as a researcher at the Centre for Research on Democracy and Law in Thessaloniki, Greece where he worked on a project entitled Politics and the Justice System of the United States of America. Mr Alexakis's thesis that earned him his College of Europe diploma deals with a pertinent topic and is entitled Russia’s hybrid threats in Georgia: A stimulus for the granting of candidate status to Georgia by the European Union?.

At Natolin, he holds the position of Executive Assistant within the Analytics and Educational Innovation Office and the Student Affairs and Professional Development Office.
