The College of Europe in Bruges is organising, upon initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a two-week Training for Young Professionals of the Western Balkans, taking place from 03 to 14 June 2024 in Tirana, Brussels and The Hague.
The programme aims to provide participants, young civil servants currently working for Ministries and other state agencies in the region, with in-depth knowledge and practical skills relating to EU policies and decision-making, with a focus on the accession process.
Sessions include an exploration of key players in EU policies and strategies for negotiating with the EU, as well as meetings and panel debates with officials during the study trips to Brussels and The Hague.
While the first cohort of students will arrive in September 2024, this activity represents the first training course of the College of Europe in its newly established Tirana branch, marking a significant milestone in its mission of contributing to the European integration project.
