Exploring the Arabic Culture with Ms Lilla BACHA

The Languages and Intercultural Dialogue Office of the College of Europe in Natolin was pleased to organise events dedicated to the Arab world led by Ms Lilla BACHA, Arabic Language Professor at Natolin.

🗓️ 10 April 2025: "When the Arab World Shines: Cross-Cultural Influences and Dialogues" workshop

Placing significant importance to multiculturalism, Natolin students embarked on a captivating journey through many ways in which the Arab world has influenced other cultures. The interactive workshop highlighted the cultural exchanges, dialogues, and legacies that have shaped art, science, language, and much more. Through engaging discussions and participatory activities, the students discovered how the Arab culture has contributed to the richness of global heritage. 

🗓️ 11 April 2025: "The Spark of Words... in Arabic" poetry event

A group of Arabic language students organised an event to discover a poem from the rich heritage of Arabic poetry. This was truly a moment of sharing, exploration, and reflection not to miss!

 

About the moderator of the events:

Ms Lilla BACHA, a graduate of the Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of Warsaw, as well as a graduate of the Warsaw Central Business School (SGH).

She is a professor of Arabic at the Center for Languages ​​and Intercultural Dialogue at the College of Europe in Natolin.
