The College of Europe welcomed the Fellows of the LEAD Albania Program
The College of Europe is proud to have hosted the 12 Fellows of LEAD Albania, a unique leadership program organised by the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF). The program offers carefully selected young professionals the opportunity to gain firsthand experience at the highest levels of government in Albania.
As part of their leadership journey, the Fellows attended a five-day training course on EU integration and its implications for Albania, specifically designed by the Executive Education, Training and Projects Office of the College of Europe and delivered by its pool of experts and trainers. Throughout the week, participants gained practical insights into the functioning of EU institutions and decision-making processes, explored the dynamics of the European accession framework, and took part in a simulation of a negotiation meeting within the EU accession process.
Established to foster the development of future leadership in Albania, the LEAD Albania Program is modelled after the White House Fellows Program in the United States. In line with its growing engagement in the Western Balkans, the College of Europe is delighted to begin this new cooperation with AADF.
