College of Europe team at the 19th Biennial EUSA Conference in Philadelphia
On May 8-10, 2025, the Director of our Transatlantic Affairs Programme, Professor Michele CHANG, and academic assistants Paula ÁLVAREZ VIDAL, Luis BARTILOTTI MATOS, Nina Esther GUIBÈRE, Marie KETTERLIN, and Sofía TORRES BIZOU flew to Philadelphia to represent the College of Europe at the 19th Biennial Conference of the European Union Studies Association (EUSA).
With transatlantic relations facing unprecedented challenges, the conference offered a timely platform to discuss the future of the EU’s role in a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape. From discussions on EU foreign policy to insights on the ongoing climate conversation, the College of Europe team shared innovative perspectives on topics like the EU’s crisis management, gendered diplomacy, the external dimension of the European Green Deal, and the complexities of migration policy.
We couldn’t be prouder of our team for bringing the College of Europe’s voice to the international stage – especially in moments when understanding Europe’s international role and the future of transatlantic relations matters more than ever!
