College of Europe in Natolin Hosts Moldovan Media Specialists as Part of EU Accession Training Programme
The College of Europe in Natolin is hosting on-site training sessions for ten Moldovan journalists and media professionals as a continuation of the 2025 edition of the Training on Accession Negotiations at the College of Europe in Natolin programme, aimed at strengthening media capacity to report on Moldova’s European Union accession process.
The on-site programme builds on a successful online training module conducted last Autumn that provided Moldovan media professionals with expert-led insights into EU accession negotiations, EU policies, and Moldova’s European integration pathway. It forms part of the #Natolin4MediaInEU programme, implemented by the College of Europe in Natolin and the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), with the support of the Soros Foundation Moldova (FSM).
The on-site session at the College of Europe in Natolin during 26-30 January 2026 offers participants hands-on experience and direct exposure to European and Polish expertise. The programme includes:
- Sessions with experienced Polish journalists, sharing lessons learned from communicating European integration during Poland’s EU accession process
- Practical workshops on foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI), elections, OSINT, and investigative techniques
- Discussions with academic experts on intercultural communication and the role of media in the process of European integration
Through direct interaction with practitioners and policymakers, the programme seeks to enhance journalists’ ability to translate complex accession-related developments into accessible, accurate, and engaging reporting for the wider public.
