Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy Roundtable - Transatlantic Cooperation on Trade and Technology in a Time of Risk: What Now, What Next?

On May 15th, the Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy held its first roundtable, “Transatlantic Cooperation on Trade and Technology in a Time of Risk: What Now, What Next?”.

During this event, Dr. Jacob Funk Kirkegaard, Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund and Peterson Institute, and Dr. Heather Grabbe, Senior Fellow at Bruegel, delved into current challenges and factors shaping transatlantic trade and technology. Alongside more than thirty experts and young professionals in transatlantic trade and economy, this event engaged in a dynamic conversation, under the moderation of Dr. Ian Lesser, the Chair in Transatlantic Trade and Economy, after an introduction by Esa Kaunistola, Director, Trade and Industrial Policy at Microsoft.

The Chair of Transatlantic Trade and Economy (College of Europe, in cooperation with Microsoft) will continue engaging in activities to foster a thorough understanding of current dynamics within transatlantic relations.
