Lilla BACHA
- Language professor (Arabic) (part time), Languages and Intercultural Dialogue Office (Natolin campus)
I am an experienced intercultural trainer and specialist in the Arab-speaking world, with over a decade of expertise in promoting cross-cultural understanding through education, diplomacy, and international cooperation. As of January 2025, I serve as the Sustainable Development Attachée (Energy, Infrastructure, Construction) at the Regional Economic Department of the French Embassy in Warsaw, while continuing my role as a professor of Arabic at the College of Europe in Natolin.
My academic background includes degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies, French Studies, and International Trade from the University of Warsaw and SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2010, I have taught Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects to a wide range of learners, including professionals from international organizations, government ministries, and the private sector.
Previously, I headed the Business Development Unit at the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFP), advising French and Polish companies on international business strategies. I have authored numerous articles on French-Polish trade relations in both francophone and Polish media and frequently moderate panels and seminars on bilateral economic cooperation.
Driven by a strong commitment to sustainability and intercultural dialogue, I bring a strategic, communicative, and solutions-oriented approach to my work in both cultural and economic diplomacy. My academic interests include Maghrebi dialectology and the sociopolitical and economic developments of the region.
