The Natolin Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2023/2024 of the Madeleine Albright Promotion took place on Saturday, 22 June 2024. The ceremony was held in the Natolin Oaks Garden.
Vice-Rector, Mrs Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, welcomed the guests, and the Natolin Choir opened the ceremony by singing the Ode to Joy. A graduation Address was delivered by the Rector, Mrs Federica MOGHERINI.
On the occasion of the ceremony, the following prizes were announced and awarded by Prof. Pascaline WINAND, Prof. Richard BUTTERWICK-PAWLIKOWSKI, and Prof. Kataryna WOLCZUK to the best students and the best Master's theses authors of the Madeleine Albright Promotion 2023/2024 at Natolin:
- Best student of the Promotion: Ms Zoë Emma BANATVALA
- Best student of the major EU Public Affairs and Policies: Ms Olga VOKH
- Best student of the major The EU and the World: Ms Zoë Emma BANATVALA
- Best student of the major The EU and its Complex Neighbourhoods: Mr Simone GAGLIARDO
- Best student of the major European History and Civilization: Ms Flora KOTLINSKI
- Outstanding Master's theses in the field of European History and Civilisation Studies: Ms Maeve CAROLAN and Ms Flora KOTLINSKI
- Outstanding Master's thesis in the field of European Neighbourhood Policy Studies: Ms Melanie THUT
- Prize of the "Dipartimento Affari Europei della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri": Mr Simone GAGLIARDO
- UN Thesis Award for the best Master's thesis on "Europe, multilateralism and the UN": Ms Mane TSATURYAN
- Jan Olaf Hausotter Memorial Prize for the best Master's thesis on transatlantic affairs: Ms Xenia MATHYS and Mr Pau ALVAREZ ARAGONES
After an intervention by the Student Representatives from both campuses, the Vice-Rector delivered the farewell address. Finally, a family photo was taken in front of the Natolin Palace, and dinner was offered at the Palace Gardens.
The event was open to Natolin students, their families and loved ones, as well as the staff. The Graduation Ceremony was live-streamed on our YouTube channel.
