Within the "Western Balkans Insights" series, the College of Europe in Natolin hosted a high-level discussion titled "Montenegro - 28th EU member state by 2028" with Mr Jakov MILATOVIĆ, President of Montenegro.
The discussion delved into Montenegro's path towards the European Union. The key note address was followed by a very interesting Q&A session, which was moderated by Ambassador Thomas MAYR-HARTING, Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Natolin.
The College of Europe in Natolin places significant emphasis on the Western Balkans region through its "Western Balkans Insights" initiative. The academic curriculum of the European Interdisciplinary Studies programme features well-designed courses on democratisation and European integration processes in the Western Balkans, delivered by leading academics and practitioners in the field including study trips.

Mr Jakov MILATOVIĆ is the President of Montenegro since 20 May 2023. He also served as Montenegro's Minister of Economic Development (2020–2022) and co-founded the Europe Now Movement in 2022.
