The European Neighbourhood Chair of the College of Europe in Natolin organised a seminar titled "Future Enlargements of the EU: Fast-track, Staged or the Usual?" featuring Prof. Steven BLOCKMANS, Associate Senior Research Fellow at the Brussels-based think tank CEPS, Prof. Roman PETROV, Head of International and European Law Department, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla, and Prof. Adam ŁAZOWSKI, Scientific Coordinator of the European Neighbourhood Chair at the College of Europe in Natolin.
EU Enlargement has, once again, become a geo-strategic matter that needs robust attention. During the seminar the speakers tackled key questions around the EU’s enlargement strategy, discussed whether the EU should adopt fast-track or staged accession models—or maintain its traditional path.
